Letter from the Resident Engagement Group to Representative Ellison, regarding H.R. 6468 (January 25, 2011)

The letter recognizes that the proposed legislation incorporates substantial improvements to the earlier proposal to preserve and revitalize rental housing, especially public housing, but expresses REG’s continuing grave concerns about authorizing public housing agencies to mortgage public housing and outlines a number of improvements that should be made to the proposed legislation.
