Mac--Thanks for posting your thoughts about the eid public comments being sought by HUD. I agree it would be good if comments could come from a larger group, but .... Our office plans to submit comments favoring HUD's proposed expansion of eid coverage. They will be short, but will encourage HUD to keep moving in the direction it is. We may draw some from your latest post, which I haven't read yet, if that's ok. Attached is a copy of the comments submitted by the our SSA Regional Commissioner in support of HUD's proposed action. Andrea Zigman of our office is a member of the WIAG (Work Incentive Advisory Group) referred to in the SSA letter, and she will be helping to draft the comments from our office.
