Section 514-16 Farmlabor Housing Loans and Grants

Description:

1% loans to nonprofit, for- profit or public entities for construction of rental housing for domestic farm laborers. Grants, of up to 90% of the cost of construction of rental housing for domestic farm laborers, are available to nonprofit and public entities only. Loans are for a term of 33 years. Nonprofit and public entities are also eligible to receive Rental Assistance subsidies on behalf of very low-income households. Residents eligible for Rental Assistance, pay 30% of household income for rent, including utilities.
